These guys were such great sports, 

It was cold and they were feeling under the weather but you can't even tell! 

Averi and I were in a few classes together and my husband 

played baseball with Garrett. 

Small world!

this is my niece on my husband's side. 

she is full of SO much personality. 

things i learned about shooting a toddler...

don't break out the snacks too early, 

they won't want to let go of them!

let mom and dad be the bad guys, 

if you try to do it, they might not look at you again!

take all the serious and posed pictures first, 

once you let them run around, they won't want to be still again. 

she really is hilarious 

and such a cute little girl

Freezer Pie Fillings

out in front of our old apartment 

we had a plum tree

so i had to pick them all! 

then we went apple picking with Steffily(thanks Else) 

so i had all this fruit and needed to use it ASAP!

I found this recipe on pinterest 

and applied it to the apples and the plums, 

I was a little worried how the plums would turn out

but I thought they were delicious!

i loved how tart the plums were. yum. 

(confession, I don't make my own dough, ever....

someday maybe I'll brave it, but for these I just bought pre frozen ones at the store)

for the apple one I just took two pie crusts and used one as the top.

for the plum I added a crumb topping.yummy!!!

with the plums it was enough for 2 deep dish pies. 

Officially DONE!

as i see on many a friend's facebook page

it's finals week and i am DONE. 

it's a little anti-climactic since i should be graduating this 

month, but for various reasons

decided to take one online class next semester. 

it's a smart choice for us, 

but i can't really say I'M DONE for good.

but i'm going to say it anyway, since i don't really

feel like one class counts....so 

I'M DONE!! 

i officially took my last test in the testing center yesterday. 

I also passed my CNA tests

so I am officially done with that too!!

so on to a semi new phase of life. 

work, work and more work!!!

i'm sure i'll miss school actually, 

it's what i've been doing for the last 20 years!

cheers to moving forward. 

(keep an eye open for my official for real done blog post in april)

Sushi Night

So it has been a really long time! 

My life has been crazy busy with being 

a student, a new apartment manager, working part time 

and taking a CNA course, it has left little time 

for blogging. 

so for the next little while i will be catching up with

all the super fun things we've been doing!
